I am a big fan of exploring. As a kid, I was fortunate to travel all around the world. As an adult, I realized I have been on more international adventures than domestic ones. So, Rob and I make it a point to get out and see things (anything) as much as possible. Seattle is full of incredible places… Gas Works Park, located on the north shore of Lake Union, is one of them. Audrey and I checked this place out today, and we were not disappointed. This super cool 19.1-acre public park is on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant. With the exception of the copious amounts of animal poop on the grass, this place is incredible.
